The two-week plan

The honest opening. In fourteen days you cannot read fifteen books, and any plan that says otherwise is selling you the feeling of preparation. This plan trades coverage for retrieval, because at this range practice items and their rationales move a score and reading does not.

THE CELL CONTRACT

Each of the fourteen day cells holds three things, in this order:

TARGET — one flagged area carried over from page 76. One. Not a book list. PRACTICE — an item count, minimum forty on weekdays. REVIEW MISSES — the rationale for every item you got wrong, read in full. This is the only mandatory element on the card and it is never skipped, never deferred to tomorrow, and never shortened when the day runs long.

Daily cap: two hours. If something has to fall out of a cell, it is the TARGET line, never the REVIEW MISSES line.

THE FOURTEEN DAYS

Days 1 to 2 · Books 2 and 3. Judgment and priority. These lift every other domain, so they earn the first two days even inside a two-week window.

Days 3 to 4 · Your two highest flags from page 76. Whatever they are. Do not substitute the topic you enjoy.

Days 5 to 6 · Books 5 and 6. Pharmacology and calculation, with a fifteen-item math block on both days regardless of what else is in the cell.

Days 7 to 8 · Books 7, 8, and 9. Values and the cardiopulmonary core.

Days 9 to 10 · Books 10 and 11, then your remaining flags.

Days 11 to 12 · Books 12, 13, and 14. Life stages and mental health, at headline level only. You are reading the chapter openers and the summary pages, not the depth.

Day 13 · Full mixed practice at exam length and exam pace. No notes, no pausing, no looking anything up until the last item is answered.

Day 14 · Hand off. This day belongs to Book 16.

WHAT YOU ARE GIVING UP

Say these out loud once, then stop negotiating with them.

  1. Complete coverage of Book 15. You will read what a missed item sends you to and nothing else.
  2. A second pass on anything. Every book gets one visit.
  3. Any new content after day 12. Days 13 and 14 add nothing and consolidate everything.

Naming the sacrifices is what stops you from improvising them back in on day 9.

HANDOFF

The final seventy-two hours are a different discipline with their own schedule, and they belong to Book 16. Nothing about the countdown, the taper, sleep, or the night before appears on this page.

At two weeks, this plan deliberately under-covers Health Promotion and Maintenance and Basic Care and Comfort in favor of the four heaviest subcategories. That is a trade-off, it is stated here rather than hidden, and you should know you are making it.

Takeaway. Inside two weeks the score moves through practice items and their rationales, so reading time is spent only on what a missed item exposed.
